Meet the Team

Dr. Lee Geers, BSc, BVSc (Hons)
Veterinarian/Owner
Dr. Lee Geers began his academic journey by completing a Bachelor’s degree at the University of Lethbridge, majoring in Biological Sciences. This foundation laid the groundwork for his comprehensive understanding of the intricacies of life sciences. Taking a passion for new horizons, Dr. Geers pursued veterinary studies at The University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia. Here, he immersed himself in the world of veterinary medicine, graduating with honours and gaining a wealth of knowledge and practical experience.
With a global perspective on veterinary care, Dr. Geers returned to Alberta, where he was born and raised, with a vision to establish a practice committed to excellence, compassion, and community.
We are truly grateful to have Dr. Geers as the guiding force behind WestVets, where his skill, deep compassion, and hometown connection enrich WestVets more than we could imagine.

Brooklyn, VA
Veterinary Assistant
Brooklyn is a compassionate and dedicated veterinary assistant with a deep love for animals from childhood. With multiple years of experience in the veterinary field, Brooklyn has honed her skills in animal care, assisting with medical procedures, and providing comfort to pets and their owners. With many pets of her own (two miniature horses, Angel and Jezzy, a cat named Kitkat, and a lovable rescue dog, Rosie), Brooklyn understands the importance of creating a safe and welcoming environment for all pets.
At home, Brooklyn and her family keep busy running two agricultural businesses, growing crops, producing feed products, and raising beef cattle. Outside of her farm life, Brooklyn has been a competitive figure skater since she was a toddler and is now also a coach! If Brooklyn finds a minute to spare in her busy lifestyle, she enjoys swimming in her outdoor pool, camping in the mountains, and spending time with her family, friends, and pets.
Her outgoing and kind demeanor combined with her strong communication skills make her a valuable member of the WestVets team, ensuring each visit is as stress-free as possible for both pets and their owners.

Jenny, VMR
Office Manager
Born and raised in Lethbridge, Jenny spent the past 30 years raising her family in British Columbia. Having recently returned to Lethbridge, Jenny has become a valued team member.
She has a background in municipal government and a lifelong passion for animals. Having grown up riding horses and caring for many dogs, cats, and the occasional chicken, Jenny brings a unique blend of administrative expertise and genuine affection for pets to her role.
When she’s not at work, she enjoys travelling and reading, always seeking new adventures and stories.

Kelley, VMR
Veterinary Medical Receptionist
Originally from Manitoba, Kelley has called Alberta home for the past 20 years, where she enjoys the warmer weather and breathtaking mountain landscapes.
With a background in social services, administration, and management, Kelley brings a unique blend of customer care and organizational expertise to the team. A lifelong animal lover, she shares her home with four beloved pets and is dedicated to creating a welcoming experience for both clients and their furry companions.
When she’s not greeting pets with treats and affection, Kelley enjoys reading, planning her next adventure, and escaping to the mountains.
WestVets is thrilled to have Kelley as part of the team—her warmth, experience, and passion for animals make her an invaluable asset.

Radiance, RVT
Practice Manager
With a wealth of experience and a passion for excellence in veterinary care, Radiance serves as our esteemed Practice Manager and doubles as an RVT. Radiance has dedicated many years to the field, earning her RVT certification through Lakeland College in 2018. Her interest in animals began many years ago when she was a toddler. Since then, she has focused heavily on the veterinary industry with a special passion for creating and maintaining healthy and effective workspaces.
When not in the practice, Radiance can be found pursuing her love for the outdoors. An enthusiast of fishing, biking, and backpacking, she finds balance and inspiration in the beauty of nature. This zest for life extends to her work, creating a positive and dynamic atmosphere within the veterinary practice.
At home, Radiance shares her space with a delightful trio of pets. Two charming feline companions (Tootie and Beans) and a loyal canine friend (Maggie) complete her household.
With Radiance’s unwavering dedication and unique blend of professional expertise and personal interests, WestVets is proud to have her at the helm, steering our team toward continued success.

We feel incredibly fortunate to have Dr. Justin Greep and the team at Westvets caring for our two cats, Mackie and Mia. What sets Westvets apart is the way they treat Mackie and Mia - with the same love and compassion that we do, just like the important members of our family that they are. When you love your pets as much as we do, finding a vet you truly trust means everything. With each visit, Dr. Greep has shown genuine compassion, kindness, and understanding. He is incredibly knowledgeable and takes the time to listen and explains things clearly, without feeling rushed. We are so thankful for Dr. Greep and the entire Westvets team - they are clearly in this business because of their genuine love for animals. Knowing our cats are in such caring and capable hands gives us tremendous peace of mind. We highly recommend Westvets to anyone looking for exceptional veterinary care with genuine compassion and heart.Posted on Google![]()

West Vets is the type of place where you know your pet is surrounded by staff that love animals. From the lovely receptionists to all the caring vet assistants to the expert veterinarians, this place is filled with people who care. Dr. Geers took the time to fully explain the situation when I had to rush my puppy in. He is one of those amazing doctors that explains what is happening, the options available and his expertise opinion. He never forced a decision, explained the costs before proceeding and truly had our puppy’s health as his first priority. If you want a place where you feel that you can fully trust with your four legged family members, West Vets is it.Posted on Google![]()

Amazing!!! I brought my Cane Corso; just over a year old in to get her weighed and some meds to make her drowsy (she won't let anyone cut her nails while alert and awake) They were super friendly and patient with her even though she won't let anyone give her commands without me there. They gave it the college try before calling me to take her. Amazing staff, great clean clinic and very aware of all animals going in and out of the lobby (to prevent any interactions with reactive animals while we were there). 10000% recommend them to all pet lovers.Posted on Google![]()

Dr. Greep is the best vet ever and the reason I go to this clinic! He is a good person, he does not push unnecessary procedures, communicates clearly, and the only guy my cat will tolerate! He is accountable and honest, and wants the best for people's pets.
